PMH Lifeline

Pocahontas Memorial Hospital Rural Health Clinic staff is offering an exciting incentive to encourage RHC patients to sign up for the “Patient Portal.”

RHC patients who sign up and log on to the portal at least once by August 31 will be entered in a drawing for a brand new Kindle Fire.

The Patient Portal allows patients to view their personal health records whenever and wherever they have access to the Internet. In addition, patients can view and request appointments, request prescription refills, receive educational materials, send and receive private messages with clinic staff, and even view and request referrals to specialists. Have trouble remembering to get your flu shot or other vaccinations? The Patient Portal allows you to set and receive special health reminders.

To begin using the Patient Portal, all you have to do is speak with a RHC staff member at your next visit or call the RHC and provide your email address. You will soon receive an email containing instructions on how to securely log in to the portal, which can be found at https://portal.pmhwv.org

You can then access your personal health records from any computer or smartphone with an Internet connection.

The Rural Health Clinic is striving to be a “Patient Centered Medical Home” and as such, welcomes patients of all ages for preventative healthcare services in addition to chronic disease management, well child checks, and women’s and children’s health.

To make an appointment, please call the clinic at 304-799-6200. The clinic is open seven days a week during the following hours: Monday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m.

Registration for the clinic is at the front desk of the hospital.

Walk-ins are always welcome.
