Phyllis Maxine Daniels Wright, age 82, of Renick, died Mondays, September 21, 2015, at her home.
Born September 6, 1933, at Beard, she was a daughter of the late Thomas, Sr. and Lottie Taylor Daniels.
Phyllis was a retired nursing assistant having worked at Denmar Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn L. Wright; and sisters, Naomi Sue Hall and Evelyn Doris Keeney.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan L. Walker, of Renick, and Carol Sue Wright, of Bassett, Virginia; sons, Gary T. Williamson, and wife, Connie, of Renick, Richard A. Williamson, Sr., and wife, Debbie, of Wytheville, Virginia, and Chester Wright, of Stanley, North Carolina; a brother, Tom Daniels, of Weston; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service is September 24, 1 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor David Workman officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
