Marian Maxine Raines Bland, age 76, of Seneca Rocks, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015, at her home.
Born July 18, 1939, at Onego, she was a daughter of the late Brinton and Velvo Chloe Vance Raines.
Mrs. Bland was a 1957 graduate of Circleville High School. She was a member of Seneca United Methodist Church. She retired from Hanover Shoe Company after 20 years of service. She enjoyed canning fresh foods from her garden and spending time with her grandchildren.
On March 11, 1958, she married Foster Bland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Garland Raines, and infant brothers, Willis Raines, Jimmy Raines and Jearl Raines; and three sisters, Marie Wiley, Gae Lambert and Donna Phares.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Steven Bland, and wife, Ruth, of Dunmore; and three grandchildren, Emily Bland, Shawn Bland and Chloe Bland.
Funeral service was September 22, at Basagic Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Bible officiating. Interment was in the Raines Family Cemetery in Seneca Rocks.
Memorials may be made to Seneca United Methodist Church.
