Pauline A. Goldizen, age 75, of Beverly, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, November 29, 2014, at her home.

Born October 21, 1939, at Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Annie Cameron Hoover Astin.

Pauline attended Tygart Valley Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Parkersburg Chapter #14. She was a loving wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William H. Astin and Robert Lee Astin; and two sisters, Mayona McLaughlin and Dinah Hefner.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Charles Goldizen; two daughters, Tamara Lynn Epperly, of Scott Depot, and Deborah Sue Stalnaker, and husband, Daniel, of Elkins; a son, Gary Lee Goldizen, and wife, Debbie, of Rudyard, Michigan; three sisters, Helen Kellison and Karen Sue Lane, both of Marlinton, and Frances Buzzard, of Richmond, Virginia; six grandchildren, Adam Goldizen, Rebecca D. Epperly, Andrea Goldizen, Jeremy White, Warren A. Epperly and Anthony Goldizen; and numerous extended family members.

Funeral service was December 2 at the Marlinton Church of God with Pastors Fred Goldizen, Jack Howell and Sam Felton officiating. Interment was in the Cochran Cemetery in Onoto.

Memorials may be made to the Marlinton Church of God, 114 Beard Lane, Marlinton, WV 24954.
