Mildred Hickson

Mildred Marie Hickson, age 87, of Arbovale, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.

Born November 30, 1928, at Cass, she was a daughter of the late Mabel Agnes Burris.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Hickson; a son, Michael D. Hickson; a daughter, Melba Fitzgerald; brothers, Frank Burris, Otis Burris and Russell “Buster” Burris; and a sister, Carol Burris Baldwin.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie Smith, of Bridgeview, Illinois, and Katherine Hickson, of Arbovale; sons, Robert K. Hickson, of Harleysville, Pennsylvania, Zane Hickson, of Cass, and Kim D. Hickson, of Arbovale; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Per her wishes, the body was cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
