Deanna Lynne Grimes, age 30, of Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
Born June 26, 1985, at Clifton Forge, Virginia, she was a daughter of Rebecca Grimes, of Clifton Forge, Virginia, and the late William Cary.
Deanna was very involved in various charitable works of the Asphalt Assault Car Club, and was a fundraiser for Safe Homes. She enjoyed helping others in any way possible, and loved all aniamls, especially horses and dogs.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Abigail Rapp; and her maternal grandfather, Kay Grimes. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, William T. Cary, of Clifton Forge, Virginia, and Michael K. Grimes, of Covington, Virginia.
In keeping with her wishes, the body was cremated. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 15, 2016, 6 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge, Virginia, with Rev. Lynn Wright officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
