Mildred A. “Milly” Brill, of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, November 1, 2018.

Born December 7, 1919, at Marlinton, she was the fourth daughter born to the late Ira D. and Lura M. Brill. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Milly was a graduate of Marlinton High School. She attended Fairmont State College, the University of Pennsylvania and Pierce Business School. She was employed by the University of Pennsylvania School of Education and the S. S. Huebner Foundation of the Wharton School from 1940 until her retirement in 1987.

She was a deacon at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the Older Adults Council, the Fine Arts Council, Senior Choir and Congregational Care Council. She was a member of the Board of Managers of the Charles Knox Retirement Home in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, for many years and also served on the Board of Meals on Wheels as well as acting as one of its delivery persons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Margaret Reinert, Frances Eskridge, Catherine “Sue” Stettler, Lois McElwee and James “Sam” Brill; and a niece and nephew.

She is survived by five nieces; and four nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 19, at the Rosemont Presbyterian Village, 404 Cheswick Place, Rosemont, PA, with interment at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church.

Memorials may be made in Milly’s name to Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, 625 Montgomery Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
