Melvin Ricottilli

Melvin Jeffrey Ricottilli, age 56, of Marlinton, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.

Born June 28, 1959, in Buckhannon, he was a son of the late Tony and Lynda Lantz Ricottilli.

Melvin was a 1978 graduate of Pocahontas County High School. He worked for Ricottilli Rustic Fence Company for 20 years. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and was road captain of the Mountain Chapter Brothers of the Wheels MC. He also enjoyed beekeeping and gold panning and was an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by his son, Eric Ricottilli, and wife, Sandra June, of Rocky Mount, Virginia; a sister, Brenda Dilley, of Dunmore; a step-granddaughter, Summer Carlson, of Rocky Mount, Virginia; a niece, Toni G. Dilley, of Christiansburg, Virginia; and a nephew, Justin Dilley, and wife, Laurel, of Dunmore.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 3, at 2 p.m. at the first parking lot on the Highland Scenic Highway 150 off Route 219. Immediately following the service, there will be a memorial ride across the Highland Scenic Highway led by the Brothers of the Wheels.

Memorials may be made to the Mountain Chapter Brothers of the Wheels MC, 1321 Livingston Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241.
