According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Kenton Combs, 56, of Marlinton, appeared in court March 25 on a charge of person attacking, hindering or obstructing firefighter or emergency equipment. Bond was set at $225,000.

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Cody M. Brooks, 19, of Cass, appeared in court March 22 on a charge of possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana. Proceedings were deferred and he was placed on six months probation. He was assessed $165.25 in court costs and fines.

Tonda L. Cassell, 56, of Cass, pleaded no contest March 15 to a charge of beer sales to individual under the age of 21. She was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

David Howard Hively, 26, of Boston, Virginia, pleaded no contest March 22 to a charge of vehicles must stop at through highways. He was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:

Kristina D. Bennett, 35, of Circleville, pleaded no contest March 25 to a charge of vehicles must stop at through highways. She was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

Andrew Scott Wiley, 24, of Millersville, Maryland, pleaded guilty March 25 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Catherine Lorraine McDaniels, 37, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty March 21 to a charge of deprive another of money, goods, property or service under fraudulent pretenses or promise. She was placed on one year unsupervised probation and assessed $165.25 in court costs and fines.
