In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merriel Peacock; daughter, Karen Linzalone; brothers, Roy Stokley, and wife, Mary Alice, Jimmy Stokley, and wife, Edna, and Basil Stokley, and wife, Jean; sisters, Shirley Branch, and husband, Edward, and Clara Lucile Stokley; one grandchild, Ronald Peacock II; and one great-grandchild, Jacob Kidd.

She is survived by her sons, David Peacock, and wife, Debbie, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Ronald Peacock, and wife, Brenda, of Bunker Hill; daughter, Teresa Brewster, and husband, Allen, of Elkins; son-in-law, Pat Linzalone, of Elkins; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at noon at Kimble Funeral Home in Marlinton with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Her final resting place will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mary’s legacy is one of strength, generosity and love and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
