Mary Grogg

Mary Helen Grogg, age 74, of Skyesville, Maryland, formerly of Randallstown, Maryland, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Transitions in Sykesville, Maryland.

Born June 26, 1940, at Green Bank, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Leta Wilfong Nelson.

She was the wife of the late Forrest J. Grogg. Mrs. Grogg was a Crossing Guard for 30 years with the Baltimore County Police Department.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Nelson; and a brother, John Nelson.

She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Gostomski, and husband, Tony, of Marriottsville, Maryland; a son, Michael Grogg, of Stafford, Virginia; two brothers, Jerry Nelson, of Baltimore, Maryland, and David Nelson, of Glen Burnie, Maryland; and two grandchildren, Claire and Kelly Gostomski.

Funeral service was July 12 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory in Sykesville, Maryland. Inurnment was private.
