Marvin Wilkinson

Marvin W. “Marv” Wilkinson, age 57, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Born in Albany, Georgia, he was a son of George and Joy Wilkinson.

Marv had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 20 years, having moved from Lakeland, Florida. He was a sheriff’s deputy for the Martin County Sheriff’s Department.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 10 years, Angela Wilkinson, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; a son, Michael Wilkinson, of Cocoa, Florida; daughters, Mackenzie Nadel, of Plant City, Florida, and Christa James, of Utah; a step-daughter, Brittany Blanco, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; a step-son, Cody Broce, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; two sisters, Lisa and Joy; and grandchildren, Michael Wilkinson, Jr., Jake Wilkinson, Ryan Nadal, Piper Lopiccolo and Jaysen Broce.

A celebration of life for Marv, “The Easter Bunny,” will be Saturday, August 15, 1 p.m. in Browns Mountain Cemetery near Huntersville.
