In accordance with the most recent guidelines and best practices recommended by health professionals regarding COVID-19 and in the interest of social distancing, the December 7 Marlinton Town Council meeting will be conducted through the Zoom teleconferencing system, using computer or call-in options only.

As always, we welcome your attendance to the meeting.

Attendees should be sure to mute their respective systems while listening to the meeting.

In-person attendance will not be an option for this meeting.

The official Agenda will be posted by 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 2.

ZOOM meeting information with call-in number will be included.

Visit the Town’s website at townofmarlintonwv.com/

Also, MTA Public Transportation is still moving along. Every Monday and Friday, MTA goes to Greenbrier County from Pocahontas County. To use the service, riders must call 304-872-5872 the day before to schedule a ride.

The Christmas Parade is Friday, December 4, at 7 p.m. The parade route has been extended this year to accommodate social distancing.

Local businesses will appreciate your Christmas shopping.
