From childhood, young and old alike have felt the excitement and anticipation of the days leading up to – and especially “the night before Christmas.”

Feelings of Advent do not come from a typical happy holiday or an annual winter solstice.

Hope springs eternal at Christmas.

Amid the constant echoes of Impeachment and the issues of our day, there remains a certain magic in the air that cannot be denied.

We need Hope, and The Spirit of Christmas keeps Hope alive.

It is good to be reminded we have a Hope that endures.

Christmas began with a Promise and continues in Hope. As you go out and about this Christmas season, look around at the different facial expressions. Hear the music and listen to the words of the songs.

The peaceful exchange of Merry Christmas provides rest for the weary.

“Christmas celebrates the miracle birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without Christ, there is no Christmas. He is the Reason for the Season.

This year, count your many blessings, friends and neighbors.

I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
