Lois Jean Alderman, age 70, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.
Born August 12, 1949, at Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late James Wilmer and Mildred Jane Harsh Shearer.
Lois was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. “Bill” Alderman; and three brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Puffenbarger, and husband, Derek, of Hillsboro; three sons, Calvin Alderman, and wife, Peggy, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Mark Alderman, and wife, Linda, and Burlin Alderman, all of Marlinton; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers; and seven sisters.
In keeping with her wishes, the body will be cremated and a private service held at a later date.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Lantz Funeral Home, 16792 Seneca Trail, Buckeye, WV 24924 to assist with funeral expenses.
