Linda Sue Hammons, 72, of Ronceverte, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Seneca Trail Healthcare Center.

Born July 25, 1951, in Ronceverte, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Mildred Baker Wykle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Wykle; and sister, Bonnie Bowyer.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Hammons; son, Jamey Hammons; daughters, Jennifer McCallister (Adam), and Stacy Hammons; brother, Bobby Wykle (Gwen); sister, Patty Smith; grandchildren, Lance, Mary, Noah and Kolin Hammons, Josh Holliday, Sarah Spurlock, Meghan and Kendra McCallister, Destiny, Kyley, Zachery, Nadaley, Coby and Wesley Hamrick; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service was held Monday, November 27, 2023, in the Mausoleum of Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg, with Pastor Gary Baker officiating.
