Linda Armstrong Dulaney, age 72, of Marlinton, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017, at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, following surgery and complications thereafter.

Born March 17, 1945, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Richwood, she was a daughter of the late Jacob “Lavere” and Madeline Brown Bleigh.

Linda was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of the Edray United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and youth group leader for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mitchell Bleigh; a sister, Dorothy Barker; and a twin sister, Beverly, who died at birth.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold Dulaney; three children, from her previous marriage to Dale C. Armstrong, Tammy Hively, and husband, Curtis, of Green Bank, Donna Dombek, and husband, Andrew, of Ischua, New York, and David Armstrong, and wife, Tonja, of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Ethan and Jessica, of Hillsboro; a brother, Benjamin Bleigh, of Craigsville; step-children, Michelle Holbrook and Chris Dulaney; and many, much loved nieces and nephews and church family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 1 p.m. at Edray United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Edray United Methodist Church.
