Linda L. Arbogast, a lifelong resident of Valley Bend, formerly of Reisterstown, Maryland, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, in Davis Medical Center in Elkins.

Born March 11, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Carl Randolph and Frances Deloris Townsend Rexrode Sr.

She was married to Herbert Dale Arbogast, who preceded her in death.

Linda was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker, who loved cooking, caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She was a mother figure to many, an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, as well as a rock to lean on when times were difficult. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Elkins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Butch Rexrode, and her twin sister, Brenda.
She is survived by two sons, Karl Herbert Arbogast, of Palmyra, Tennessee, and John Kramer Arbogast, and wife, Dunia, of Orlando, Florida: daughter, Karen Ellen Shrader, and husband, Kevin, of Valley Bend; brother, Terry Rexrode, of Ocean City, Maryland; two sisters, Nancy Rexrode, of Maryland, and Chris Martin, of Arizona; five grandchildren, Derek, Gaven, Kaitlin, Jacob and Jocelyn; and great-grandson, Kason.

Linda’s request for cremation will be honored.

The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements.

Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tomblynfuneralhome.com
