Lewis Myles

Lewis Myles, age 85, of Renick, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea.

Born May 6, 1930, at Renick, he was a son of the late Virgil Lewis Myles, Sr., and Ella Grace Kellison Myles.

Lewis was a graduate of Renick High School. He was on the board of Morningside Cemetery and was a member of the Spring Creek Presbyterian Church at Renick. He was the owner of Myles Pump Service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Wiley Myles; a daughter, Peggy Whitt; and a brother, John Joe Myles.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Sherman Myles, and wife, Marsha, Alan Myles, and wife, Stephanie, and Myke Myles, and wife, Donna, all of Renick; grandchildren, Seth Myles, Sean Myles, Keith Clegon, Todd Clegon, Steven Clegon, Jeremy Whitt and Hope Whitt; six great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Duane Whitt; and sisters-in-law, Mary Wingler, of Droop Mountain, and Ruth Myles, of Lewisburg.

Funeral service was June 14, at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Jim Anderson officiating. Interment was in Morningside Cemetery in Renick.
