Leo Ames

Leo Decko Ames, age 68, of Huntersville passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at Meadow Garden Nursing Home in Rainelle.

Born May 24, 1949, at Hinton, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Frances Maxine Bennett.

He worked for Cramer Lumber Company and was a security guard for Silver Creek.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Ames.

He is survived by a daughter Stephaine Ames, of Huntersville; son, David Ames, and Melissa, of Beaver Creek; sister, Frances Burns, of Elton; grandchildren, Justin Ames, Rachel Ames, Jack Harrah, Tiffany Prince, Natasha Harrah, Keith Harrah and Alexandria Harrah; and great-grandchildren, Alexis Prince and Hazel Hypes.

Family will receive friends Saturday, April 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and the cremains interred in the Richmond Cemetery at Sandstone.
