Kessler Lincoln Pritt, age 88, of Scottown, Ohio, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, at the River Bend Nursing Home in South Point, Ohio.

Born August 31, 1929, at Spice, he was a son of the late Joseph Snowden and Monnie Harford Pritt.

Kessler was a United States Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He attended West View Baptist Church on Lobelia Road and was a truck driver for Anderson Paving.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Russell Lee Pritt; sisters, Arvena Dean, Brownie Cluff, Nora Loudermilk and Ada Wingler; and brothers, Dennis Pritt, Clifford Pritt and Elliott Pritt.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Mae Pritt; a daughter, Barbara Reinhold, and husband, Walter, of Scottown, Ohio; sons, Robert Lincoln Pritt, and wife, Cynthia, of Frankford, Donald Lee Pritt, and wife, Cathy, of Parkersburg, Joseph Keith Pritt and Kessler Wayne Pritt, both of California, and John Randell Pritt, and wife, Frances, of Hillsboro; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a special niece, Charlotte Steel, of Maryland; special VA nurses, Stephanie and Tina; and special friends, Virgil and Mondell Raines.

Funeral service was held December 3 at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor Jeanie Nelson officiating. Interment was in Emmanuel Cemetery at Bruffey Creek with Military Honors by the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps.
