Kennith Mullens

Kennith Howard Mullens, age 89, of Williams River Road, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Summersville Regional Hospital.

Born April 14, 1928, at Camden on Gauley, he was a son of the late Howard and Louisa Gallogly Mullens.

Kennith was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Whites Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a hunting/fishing outfitter in North Western Québec, and a barber.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Erma Kroeker, Johnny Mullens and Clyde Mullens.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon McCloud Mullens; canine companion, “Lady;” children, Wayne Mullens, and wife, Lynne, of Louisiana, Brad Mullens, and wife, Ginny, of Ontario, and Jake Mullens, and wife, Linda, of North Carolina; step-children, Kathy Curry, and husband, Billy, of Indiana, David Broce, and wife, Debbie, of Lewisburg, and Cynthia Broce-Kelley, of Marlinton; eight grandchildren; six great-grand children; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Dotty McLaughlin, of Arbovale; and brother, Wally Mullens, and wife, Vicki, of Ontario.

Funeral was held March 13 at Whites Chapel United Methodist Church on Handley Road with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marlinton Fire and Rescue, 709 Second Avenue, Marlinton, WV 24954.
