Katrina Rider

Katrina Ann Rider, age 64, of Neola, passed away Monday morning, July 2, 2018, at White Sulphur Springs Center.

Born November 11, 1953, in Covington, Virginia, she was raised by her grandparents, the late Almeda and Oscar Rider.

Katrina was a member of May Chapel United Metho-dist Church and was a caregiver. She loved the outdoors, camping, picnicing, canning, gardening and most especially, her grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and had never met a stranger.

In addition to her grandparents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Rider; and birth mother, Lucy A. Rider.

She is survived by her children, Alan Lee Rider, and wife, Amanda, of Neola, and Amanda Susan Sieben-kittel, and husband, Brett, of Clifton Forge, Virginia; grandchildren, Gabriel Brown, Trebor Rider, Eliza Rider, Tyler Siebenkittel and Caleb Sibenkittel; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service honoring Katrina will be held Saturday, July 7, 2 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs. Family will receive friends from noon until time of service.

A Celebration of Life picnic will be held at a later date.
