David Hamman

David Lynn Hamman, of Snowshoe, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018, following a long battle with cancer.

David made his life at Snowshoe for nearly 40 years, 25 of those with his beloved wife, Debra, running a housekeeping and maintenance business. Since then, he had been actively involved with the Linwood Community Library, Linwood Community Daycare, Linwood Farmers Market, Linwood Alive and Pocahontas County Parks and Recreation.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Hamman.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Hamman, of Buckhannon; daughter, Jessica Stump, of Marlinton; son, Derek Hamman, of Enterprise, Alabama; brothers, William Hamman, and wife, Diane, of Cross Junction, Virginia, and Jeffrey Hamman, of Buckannon; and a sister, Amelia Hall, of Buckhannon.

Memorials may be made to the Linwood Community Library or Linwood Community Daycare.
