Karen Wyatt

Karen Jean Carr Wyatt, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Born September 25, 1954, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Geraldine Carr.

Karen worked at St. Mary’s as a nurse’s aide for more than 30 years. She served the Lord as a member of 26th Street Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was a member of the activity committee. She enjoyed spending time at the Barboursville Senior Center.

She enjoyed cooking, whether it was for her family, church or friends. Her joys in life were her grandkids and spending time with her dog, Roxy.

Karen will be missed by many friends and family whose lives she touched with her giving heart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Carr.

She is survived by her daughters, Cara Merritt, and husband, Marshall, and Amanda Wyatt, all of Huntington, and Alicia Crawford, and husband, Dean, of Pedro, Ohio; two grandchildren, Caleb Merritt and Jocelyn Merritt, both of Huntington; her siblings, Janice Gibson, Brenda, Carr and Martin Carr, all of Marlinton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held November 1 at 26th Street Baptist Church in Huntington.

Memorials may be made to Hospice House of Huntington.

Online condolences may be made at www.ehallfuneralhome.com
