Judy Palmer

Judy D. Palmer, 73, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020, at her home.

Born July 9, 1947, in Lobelia, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Lola Rola Blankenship Workman.

Judy was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Pocahontas County Senior Citizens and Modern Woodmen. She was a CNA at Greystone Landing, Denmar and Pocahontas Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John William “Bill” Palmer; and a twin sister, Jenny D. Rose.

Judy is survived by two daughters, Tina Kromoff, and husband, Mike, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, and Gina Duncan, of Marlinton, and John Duncan, of Buckeye; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Raymond Workman, of Hillsboro, Edra Workman and Kenneth Workman, both of Marlinton, and Durrel Workman, of Louisa, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Trinity Baptist Church in Buckeye with Pastor John Paul Burks officiating. Burial in Ruckman Cemetery at Mill Point.

In lieu of flowers or donations the family asks that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, friend or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour or a day.
