Joseph Buck

Joseph Roy “Joe” Buck, age 31, of Marlinton, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.

Born June 19, 1986, in Chester, Pennsylvania, he was a son of Owen J. and Karen Cain Gragg, of Marlinton.

Joe enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and NASCAR’s Kasey Kahne. He never met a stranger and loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Mandy Cain and Ellet and Edna Gragg; an aunt, Patricia Ann Cain; and two uncles, Roy Cain, Jr., and Stephen Cain.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Owen J. Gragg, II, and wife, Anastasia, of Hillsboro, David Buck, and companion, Kendra Taylor, of Green Bank, Ellett Gragg, and companion, Danielle Stuart, and Owen C. Gragg, all of Marlinton; sisters, Beverly Gragg, and fiancé, Joe Loudermilk, and Amanda Gragg, and fiancé, Joe Adkins, all of Hillsboro, and Andrea Buck, and companion, Tony Mc-Kenney, of Slaty Fork; paternal grandmother, Yvonne Maas, of Marlinton; aunts and uncles, Ernie Cain, and companion, Vicki Trotta, of Marlinton, Dolores “Sissy” Gargano, and husband, Ray, of Leavittsburg, Ohio, Nancy Hanna, James Gragg and Georgia Roy, all of Marlinton; Peggy McMillion, of Buckeye, and Maybell Richardson, of Lewisburg; faithful caregiver, Trudy Moore; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Funeral service was held September 26 at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor David McCall officiating. Interment was in Stony Bottom Cemetery.
