Clarence Calvin “Punk” Anderson, age 74, of Huntersville, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.
Born June 6, 1943, at Mountain Grove, Virginia, he was a son of the late Roy Wanamaker and Flosie Sheets Anderson.
Punk was a self-employed logger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Gerald Calvin Anderson; brothers, Clyde Anderson, William “Bill” Anderson and Roy “Bud” Anderson; and step-brothers, Randell Anderson, Wayne Anderson and Gordie Anderson.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol Roberts Anderson; a daughter, Dreama Walker, and husband, Howard, of Hillsboro; a sister, Anna Gayle Terry, of Monterey, Virginia; step-sisters, Millie Jones and Cheryl Persinger, both of Covington, Virginia; and two grandchildren, whom he cherish- ed, Chelsea Walker and Cade Walker.
Funeral service was held September 24 at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Interment was in Mountain Grove Cemetery in Mountain Grove, Virginia.
