Jerry Mace

Jerry William Mace, age 62, of Marlinton, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington.

Born January 14, 1955, at Marlinton, he was a son of Kathleen Hammonds Mace, of Slaty Fork, and the late Albert Truman Mace.

Jerry retired as a truck driver for Beckwith Lumber Company.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Mace, Jr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, David Mace, of Marlinton; sisters, Geraldine Blackshire, and husband, Curtis, of Amma, and Ramona Warder, and husband, Walter, of Slaty Fork; brothers, Edwin Mace, and wife, Donna, of Northwales, Pennsylvania, Sam Mace, and wife, Adalene, of Marlinton, and Daniel Hammonds, and wife, Eileen, of Fairfax, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held September 16 at VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton with Pastor David McCall officiating.
