Jason Thomas Lane, 51, of Marlinton, unexpectedly passed away at his home Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Born June 10, 1973, in Elkins, he was the beloved son of Tom and Rachel Lane, and he lived his entire life in Marlinton.
Jason graduated from Pocahontas County High School in 1991 and attended Glenville State College. He worked many years at Snowshoe Resort as a maintenance engineer.
He loved to hunt and was a follower of the West Virginia University Mountaineers. He loved music and was an excellent drummer.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex and Louise Lane and Margaret Woodell.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughter, Alexandria Lane; uncles, Delmas Lane and Steven (Linda) Lane; aunts, Phyllis (Bill) Clarkson and Betty Thompson; and many cousins.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery.
