Helen Slaughter

Helen Marie Slaughter, age 66, of Marlinton, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.

Born May 8, 1947, at Alexandria, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Richard Herbert and Margaret Edwards Slaughter.

Helen was in home healthcare and was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Christine Lusk, and husband, Timmy, of Green Bank; two sons, Roger Dale McMillion, Jr., and Richard McMillion, and wife, Beth, all of Florida; sisters, Susan Wendel, and husband, Steven, of Columbia, Maryland, and Kathy Fleshman, and husband, Gene, of Greensboro, Maryland; and grandchildren, Courtney Lusk, Jessica Lusk, Troy Lusk and Matthew McMilion.

Memorial service is Saturday, February 22, 1 p.m. at Rayetta’s Lunchbox in Marlinton. Family and friends welcome.

Memorials may be made to Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV 25801.
