Helen Conrad

Helen Lenora Tacy Conrad, age 74, of Kernersville, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Born August 28, 1942, in Cass, she was a daughter of the late Berl and Elsie Dean Tacy.

Helen was a member of the House of Prayer in Kernersville, and was the assistant director of girls’ Kernersville Raiders for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Tacy.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Conrad, of Kernersville, North Carolina; four children, Shelia York, Cheryl Conrad Pearman, and husband, Christopher, Todd Conrad, and wife, Kimberly, and Dawn Renee Conrad, all of Kernersville, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Kyndal Boothe, Kadynce Boothe, Kinnady Boothe, Kaylin Conrad, Andrew Conrad and Luke Conrad; a sister, Frances McKenney, of Buckeye; and many other loving family members.

Funeral service was held July 8 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Chapel with Revs. Carlee Stallard and Christopher Pearman officiating. Interment was in the Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
