Fourth Avenue blight

The area along Fourth Avenue in Marlinton, outside of the Greenbrier River floodplain, would seem to be a good place for residential or commercial development, but the area is blighted by ramshackle structures, like the three in the photo. Marlinton Code Enforcement Officer David Watkins  will have the mission to deal with dangerous and unsightly conditions like these, but the ultimate responsibility to take action on blighted properties is Marlinton Town Council's.
