Flossie Rucker

Mary Flossie Rucker, age 96, of Marlinton, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the home of her granddaughter in Midland, Virginia.

Born December 10, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Harrison Fulton and Mamie Mary McComb Underwood.

Flossie was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Glenn Rucker; a daughter, Patricia Aliff; an infant son; four brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Debra Deskins, of Midland, Virginia; eight great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is Friday, April 8, 11 a.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
