Flossie Meek

Flossie Mae Anderson Meek, 60, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

Born March 7, 1961, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Frances Pyles Anderson McLaughlin and Clyde N. Anderson.

Flossie fought a long battle against cancer, but her faith in our Lord kept her going. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Johnson East.

She is survived by the love of her life, Bryan B. Meek, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; son, Brandon M. Gumm, of Ewa, Hawaii; sisters, Donna Wiseman and Hedi McLaughlin Cason (Eddie), all of Florida; brother, Clyde Monty Anderson (Catherine), of Florida, uncle, Letcher Pyles, of Huntersville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in both Florida and West Virginia; many friends in both states, with a special spot in her heart for Brenda Waugh and Shelia Ryder Cutlip, of Marlinton.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 16, at 3 p.m. at Faith Family Worship Center in Palm City, Florida. You may view the service live at ffwc.us
