LITTLE LEAGUE ALL STARS
The Marlinton Little League All Star Team is scheduled to play Lewisburg in Alderson Wednesday night in the Greenbrier Valley District Tournament. The winning team will play the winner of the Ronceverte-Alderson game on Thursday.
The boys, who were picked from the four regular season teams, will wear their new uniforms, purchased at a cost of $300. These uniforms will be lettered and go to a team next season. Little League President Walt Helmick hopes another set of new uniforms can be purchased.
Members playing Little League come from the Marlinton – Hillsboro area.
They are Tony Pondexter, Pete Burdette, Brett Withers, Steve Johnson, Chester Shifflett, Mike Dunz, David Michael, Greg Johnson, Paul Hill, Ronnie Simmons, Tim Arbogast, Doug Cutlip, Rick Carpenter, Bubby Barb, Cheryl Cutlip and Frosty McNabb. Manager “Fuzzy King.
WEDDING
In a candlelight ceremony on June 12, 1976, in the Marlinton United Methodist Church, Miss Deborah Ann Faulknier became the bride of Anthony Michael Rinaldi.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth W. Faulknier, of Marlinton.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Angelo D. Rinaldi, of Cortland, New York.

Walter Arbogast, 97, of Buckeye, a member of Marvin Chapel Methodist Church and the Masons at Hillsboro. He was a son of George Washington and Sarah Elisabeth Arbogast. Funeral service from VanReenen Funeral Home with burial in Arbovale Cemetery.
Samuel McCoy, 89, of Elkins; funeral from VanReenen Funeral Home with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
