Donald VanReenen

Donald G. VanReenen, 82, of Lorain, Ohio, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at Autumn Ages Nursing Home in Lorain, Ohio.

Born March 2, 1932, at Marlinton, he was the youngest son of the late Gilbert and Elsie Sue Hull VanReenen.

Donald had been a resident of Lorain, Ohio, for the past 10 years moving from New Philadelphia, Ohio. He worked as a tow motor operator, worked in the shipping department and in factory follow up for Moen, Inc., in Elyria, Ohio. He was a member of Eagles Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Glen, Guy and John Garth.

He is survived by a sister, Betty Jean Smith, of Marlinton; and a friend, Norman R. “Dominic” Manges.

Graveside service is Monday, June 23, 11 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. David Merryman officiating. Riddle Funeral Home in Vermilion, Ohio, is entrusted with arrangements.
