Donald Barb

Donald Wayne “Duck” Barb, age 62, of Marlinton, passed away Friday, August 23, 2019, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.

Born October 19, 1956, at Elkins, he was a son of the late Paul and Etta Mae Bailer Barb.

Duck enjoyed working on small engines, playing his harmonica, gospel songs, fishing and drawing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Barb; a sister, Carolyn Wilfong; and a brother, June Barb.

He is survived by four sons, Travis Barb, of Alderson, Anthony Barb, of Marlinton, and Christopher Wayne Barb and Shawn Wayne Barb, both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Tiffany Dawn Robertson, of Elkins, and Onyx Barb, of Marlinton; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Johnson, of Elkins, and Virginia Dolan, of Renick; and four brothers, Robert Barb and Carl Barb, both of Droop, Randy Barb, of Oak Hill, and Tom Barb, of Marlinton.

In keeping with the family’s request, the body was cremated and no service held.
