David Vaughan

David Neal Vaughan, of Buckhannon and Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

Born August 29, 1953, at Marlinton, he was a son of Dortha Scott Vaughan, of Hillsboro, and the late Mason Vaughan.

David was a 1971 graduate of Pocahontas County High School. He graduated with a degree in Forestry from Glenville State College, and was a forester for many years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Dennis Vaughan, and companion, Lucy, of Hillsboro, Margaret Gibson, and husband, Eddy, of Bryan, Texas, and Janice Goode, and husband, Steve, of Hillsboro; two nephews; a niece; four great-nieces; two great-nephews.

Funeral service was held May 18 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Ron Kinzel officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Emmanuel Cemetery, Bruffey Creek – Carl Barb, 4772 Lobelia Road, Hillsboro, WV 24946.
