Dale McKenney

Dale McKenney, age 83, of Slaty Fork, died Friday, November 27, 2020, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.

Dale was a retired water plant operator for the Town of Marlinton.

Born February 4, 1937, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late James Leo and Lottie Barrett McKenney.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Galford McKenney; daughters, Joyce McKenney and Susan Morrison; sons, Allen McKenney, Jerry McKenney, Tony McKenney and Billy McKenney; sister, Norma Sue Carpenter; brothers, Hubert McKenney, Curtis McKenney, Robert McKenney and Samuel McKenney; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was held Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Indian Draft Cemetery with Pastor Shaun Clark officiating.

VanReenen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
