Clarence Bailey

Clarence Marvin Bailey, age 82, of Frost, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the VA Hospital in Beckley.

Born August 29, 1933, in Milo, he was a son of the late Pascal and Beulah Starcher Bailey. Clarence was a United States Marine Corps Veteran.

He attended the Frost United Methodist Church, was a truck driver and security guard at Vepco Dam.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Thomas; a grandson, Larry Linville; four sisters, Eleanor Coons, Lorraine McClure, Jeannie Talbot and Frances Smith; and five brothers, Ronzel, Jack, Wheeler, Doy and Pascal, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Nelson Bailey; two daughters, Cindy Brock, and husband, Mike, of Dunmore, and Laura Marshall, of Waynesboro, Virginia; three sons, Greg Lawrence, of Frost, Sam Gray, and wife, Vickie, of Peytona, and Edward Sloan, of Parkersburg; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Kova, and husband, John, of Fountain Hills, Arizona; and a brother, Richard Bailey, and wife, Pat, of Alabama.

Per his wishes, the body will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
