Carlos Adkins, Jr.

Carlos Edward “Eddie” Adkins, Jr., age 67, of Marlinton, died Friday, June 11, 2021, at his home.

Born February 15, 1954, at Beckley, he was a son of the late Carlos Edward, Sr. and Marie Bennett Adkins.

Eddie was a retired plumber and a member of the UMWA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Garland Adkins.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Taylor Adkins; daughters, Lisa M. Bristow, Tammy J. Gress and Lisa A. Pomfrey; son, David Adkins; brothers, Danny, Dallas, Herbert and Robert Adkins; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
