Brenda Taylor

Brenda Leigh Taylor, 61, of Green Bank, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 13, 2021, at her home.

Born July 29, 1959, in Bartow, she was a daughter of the late Henry Allen and Connie Lambert Taylor.

Brenda was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She was an employee of the Department of Highways, prior to becoming the 20-year manager of “Henry’s,” the family’s business in Green Bank. She later worked as a correctional officer at Huttonsville Correctional Center until her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Uxter and Mary Lambert; and paternal grandparents, Grover and Frances Taylor.

She is survived by her companion, Dan Hardy, of Green Bank; sister, Tina Marie O’Brien, and husband, Mike, of Green Bank; brother, Henry Allen “ H. A.” Taylor, II, of Green Bank; niece and nephews, Michael Allen O’Brien, and fiancée, Ashley Sharp, Dakota Cole Taylor and McKenna Mae Taylor; special aunt, Beverly Taylor, of Lynnfield, Massachusetts; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her furry, four-legged companion, Snuffy.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 18, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale.

Funeral service will be Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Julian Rittenhouse officiating.
