Beverly Kim Copelin, 64, a beloved sister and aunt, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, in Marlinton.

Born in Woodward, Oklahoma, Kim graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma.

She and her parents moved to West Virginia in 1994.

Kim loved to play board games, and she especially liked to play Canasta with her family and Bingo at the local senior center, where she had extraordinary luck. Kim loved elephants, and was given many of them as gifts in various forms, far more than her family could ever count.  Her favorite color was purple, and she loved a good joke.  She loved to lift her voice to the Lord and sing hymns with great enthusiasm.  Kim loved being with people, and the one thing people remembered most about Kim was her laugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Farrell and June Copelin; sister, Dian Copelin; nephew, Zachary  Allen; and niece, Katherine Allen Anderson.

She is survived by her sisters, Marilyn Allen, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Laura Hise, of Dunmore; six nephews, five great-nephews; and three great-nieces.

The funeral service was held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Brother Marty Clevenger officiating.

Burial was in Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, Oklahoma, Wednesday, May 8, 2024, with Brother Ivan Eck officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to Church of God Missions, 803 Chippewa Street, Seneca, MO 64865.

Online condolences may be shared at WallaceandWallaceFH.com
