Barbara Sampson

Barbara Sue Sampson, age 77, of Parkville, Maryland, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018, at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

Born May 18, 1941, at Cass, she was a daughter of the late William Boyd and Neva Bly Tallman Simmons.

Barbara was employed by the Wilmer Eye Institute at John Hopkins Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Berdeen O’Brien, Betty Jo Bennett and Sarah E. Simmons; and a brother, William “Pete” Simmons.

She is survived by her husband, Thurman Monroe Sampson; and sons, William Monroe Sampson of Abingdon, Maryland, and Brian Scott Sampson of Parkville, Maryland.

Family will receive friends Friday, November 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2 p.m. at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor David Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Arbovale Cemetery.
