Raw Cabbage Pickles
In a stone jar put:
2 gal. cabbage, chopped
6 red peppers, chopped
6 onions, chopped
1/2 gal. vinegar
1 cup salt
Celery and mustard seed
Weigh down.
Pickles will be ready in three weeks.
Italian Sausage Sandwich
1 lb. Italian pork sausage, casing removed
1 1/2 cups Prego Chunky Garden Mushroom and Green Pepper sauce
4 long hard-rolls, split
Cook sausage until well browned, stirring often to separate meat.
Pour off fat.
Stir in the sauce and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
Serve on hard-rolls.
