Leeoan Frances Lewis Cutlip, of Charleston, formerly of Renick, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, doing what she enjoyed most – flea marketing.
Born April 1, 1938, at Spring Creek, Greenbrier County, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Audrey Mae Blake Lewis.
Leeoan was a 1957 graduate of Renick High School. She was a faithful patron of Pioneer Days and Fairlea Fairground flea markets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Marie; and a special niece, Bridget.
She is survived by two sons, Rodney Cutlip, and wife, Andrea, and Dwight Cutlip, all of Clendenin; a grandson, Nicholas, whom she adored; four brothers, Howard Lewis, Jr., of Felton, Pennsylvania, Melvin Lewis, and wife, Pat, of Taneytown, Maryland, Arthur “Buck” Lewis, and wife, Betty, of Lewisburg, and Vesper Lewis, and wife, Evelyn, of Renick; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and two great-great-nieces.
Per her wishes, the body was cremated.
Her remains were scattered in Babcock State Park, where she enjoyed many memorable and enjoyable camping trips with her family.
