Charlotte Lee Perkins Schoolcraft, age 52, of Marlinton, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016, at her apartment at Fran Manor in Marlinton.
Born July 6, 1964, in Prince William County, in Manassas, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Annabelle Blake Perkins.
Charlotte was a full-time wife and a loving mother. She was a well-known, sweet lady of the community. She was a member of the Mountain View Assembly of God Church in Edray.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Lee Schoolcraft, of Marlinton; her son, Ricky Lee Schoolcraft, and wife, Ashley, of Hillsboro; her daughter, Amanda McMillion, and husband, Steve, of Marlinton; a sister, Becky Evans, and husband, John, of Beaver Creek; two brothers, Eric Perkins, and wife, Renee, of Marlinton, and Clyde Perkins, of Hillsboro; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Family will receive friends Friday, September 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2 p.m. at Mountain View Assembly of God with Pastor Shawn Clark officiating. Interment will be in the Beaver Creek Cemetery. A covered dish dinner will follow at Mountain View Assembly of God at 4:30 p.m.
