Norman McKenney

Norman Edward “Jack” McKenney, age 69, of Marlinton, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at the Meadow Garden Nursing Home in Rainelle.

Born December 24, 1946, in Pocahontas County, he was a son of the late Sydney Willis and Nellie May Waugh McKenney.

Jack was of the Methodist faith. He was a handyman and an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald McKenney, Ivan McKenney, Kirby McKenney and Victor McKenney.

He is survived by a sister, Nancy Green, of Frost; and two brothers, Gary McKenney, of Frost, and Larry McKenney, of Hot Springs, Virginia.

In keeping with his wishes, the body was cremated and his ashes were buried in the McKenney Cemetery in Edray.
