4-H & FFA Members Travel to the West Virginia State Fair
The West Virginia State Fair will be held August 8 through 16 at the State Fairgrounds in Lewisburg, and many Pocahontas County 4-H and FFA members will be traveling to the State Fair to exhibit their projects in the Youth Building. Four-H and FFA members will also be exhibiting their animal projects at the livestock and horse shows. For more information on the State Fair of West Virginia please visit www.wvstate fair.com

All county livestock show entry forms are due Friday, August 15.
All livestock project record guides will be due Friday, August 29.
2014 4-H and FFA Livestock Show and Sale
Attention buyers save the date: The Pocahontas County 4-H and FFA members will be holding their annual livestock show and sale on Saturday, August 23. The show will begin at noon and the sale will be held that evening at 7:30 p.m. We encourage everyone to come out and support the local 4-H and FFA youth and the culmination of their hard work with their livestock projects.
